G/F Greenbelt 2, Esperanza St Ayala Center, Makati
PIZZA MARGHERITA – I hope I am wrong that the dough isn’t fresh. This is one tough pizza to sink your teeth into. Margherita is such a simple pizza that the taste isn’t too complicated. Everything else has been blended that it was lost in translation. This is too small for 2 people to share as well.
MEDITERRANEAN SALAD – Lettuce, chunks of tomato, feta cheese, cucumber slices, croutons.
BRUSCHETTA – an Italian antipasto consisting of roasted bread rubbed with garlic and olive oil with variations on the toppings. This was topped with cheese and green bell pepper and mushroom. Yes, this is all there is to it as seen in the picture. 5 pieces for Php 300 plus something.
BAKE BRIE W/ GUAVA JELLY – again this teenie tiny serving of baked brie which was caught inside the folds of the filo pastry that you have to be heedful or you will lose the chance of finding your cheese. This is served with 3 slices of bread.
(*) NACHOS with CHILI CON CARNE – this is the best food for the night. But then again , too little serving for such a tasty dish. The 12 pcs of nachos were served crunchy and the chili con carne tastes great.
DECADENT CHOCOLATE CAKE – decadent means appealing to self-indulgence – uhhhhmmm – the redeeming factor was the vanilla ice cream on top – who can go wrong with this?
Ambiance … the interior is stylish sans the neon lights that were on the ceiling … this totally messed up the elegant look. It is cozy and simple … just the way I liked my interiors.
There are 2 options to dine in this restaurant: outside with a band for Php 350 consumable and inside for a more “romantic” atmosphere.
They serve a wide variety of wines and cocktails. On – going is their promo of 4+1 for beers and 2+1 for cocktails during happy hour which ends at 8pm.
